Congratulations to all the participants in Buy Clean Energy 2010, our campaign to remind consumers and businesses about the importance of a clean energy future. Through this campaign, 539,634 NEW kilowatt-hours were purchased, with over 2.3 million (new and existing) kilowatt-hours purchased by participants overall in 2010. Because of this success, we are continuing the campaign past the end of the year, making it an ongoing initiative where we can continue to promote the value and importance of weaning the U.S. off fossil fuels and embracing clean, renewable energy.
