The Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC), one of the nation’s most effective environmental-action organizations, has joined Buy Clean Energy 2010. As a supporting organization, NRDC hopes to work with the campaign to address our shared goals of curbing global warming and decreasing American independence on oil as a resource. Deemed “one of the nation’s most powerful environmental groups” by The New York Times, NRDC has been working since 1970 to help write some of America’s bedrock environmental laws and pave the way for today’s environmental movement.
