2. Buy Certified Clean Energy Right Now

You can buy certified renewable energy right now, or look for options from your local utility or electric service provider.

Once you have determined how much electricity you use in a year, it's time to buy clean energy. You can do this all at once, by making a one-time purchase of renewable energy certificates, or you can sign up for a monthly program if one is available from your utility or electricity provider.

Once you've completed your purchase, move on to Step 3 to Sign the Roster of Clean Energy Supporters.
