EcoElectrons supplies corporations with green power or renewable energy through certified Renewable Energy Credits. EcoElectrons injects green electricity into the electric grid on behalf of its customers. When green power is injected into the grid, a ‘Renewable Energy Credit’ is generated. Businesses purchase the Renewable Energy Credit in addition to the power they normally consume. Businesses get Green-e certified. Green-e is to green power what Energy Star is to energy efficiency. They also become a member of the prestigious US EPA Green Power Partnership. EPA and Green-e logos can then be used on marketing communications and product packaging.
We need your help! Record a short video of yourself saying why you buy clean energy, using the following format: “Hi, I’m … and I buy clean energy because …” Later, we’ll put them all together in a video that we’ll feature on the site.
The easiest way to do this is to use YouTube’s My Webcam feature and email Jeff at jeff [at] resource-solutions [dot] org with a link to your video. You can also upload one to Vimeo or simply email us a final video file. Be sure to include your contact information so we can let you know when the final video is ready.
